On my production Manix XL I upgraded the clip to a STR lowrider.I would like to switch the clip on this one to a lowrider also as I like the deeper carry better.Do you guys have any suggestions to a source of lowrider pocket clips besides STR?The same clip fits the Manix XL and the Para 2.Thank you for your time.
Best regards,

I contacted Steve and he is making a lowrider now for this knife. There is no better source IMO.

That said I have his clips on every spyderco I own that don't have a factory fold over wire clip, so I might be a bit jaded.

I hate those flipperes! "Only taken out to photograph" - Then why you bought it in the first place? You NEVER intended to keep it!

People shouldn't support those the flippers and order from KW.

There's not much of the horse to beat anymore, lol.

Another point - someone may buy one on there bc they don't feel like waiting. Sure, you can preorder one but who knows when you'll get it. I believe KW said they were hoping to get there next batch before Christmas..so...

Just got mine today! For me, its the best in the Manix series, or CF & S90v Spyderco for that matter.
Its big, light, slim and carries really well. Super secure in the hand. Yep, this one is now my favorite Spyderco of all time.
Its official........ Went straight into my pocket. :)

No, this one is the new Bug.

Here it is again with a small block Chevy valve. And a clam I had for lunch.

MCM, I'm thankful that you started this post, what, 16 months ago? I've been eagerly anticipating mine ever since you first posted, and it's everything I expected it to be. I love them! That S90V sure seems to hold an edge well, don't know what it's going to take to sharpen it when I need to :) .
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

The trick is in not letting it get dull. Just touch it up now and then and it will always be fine! :D

I think if you liked the Superleaf, you'll probably like the Manix2 XL.

My credit card got charged 2 days after I ordered which was last week. Does this mean I am getting my Manix soon? No shipping notification yet and I thought they only charge you when they are shipping.

Sadly I got my new s90v manix xl yesterday and just put a big chip in it from the edge of a metal table, but at least it's getting some good use.

BTW advice sought... would most of you try to sharpen out a 1mm deep chip that's an inch from the base of the blade? Or would you live with the chip and let time take it's course and multiple sharpenings get rid of it?

My jaw dropped when I looked at that chip :(
