i couldnt wait for my ulize to arrive..

drove to bern for over an hour to get myself another endura; while in the shop, i asked to see the "warrior" (they didnt have one) and the bushcraft; now i kinda wish they DIDNT have one, but they did!

anyway, i pull the fu**er out of it's sheet in which it sits quite firmly in.. and i **** you not, i pierce my pinky with the tip, i bleed all over the floor, the glass-display..

and i keep telling the sweet lady in the shop how sorry i am, she was quite quick with the paper-towels and a bandaid, i also told her i was free of any infectious diseases; i think i must of said "sorry" for about a gazillion times!

i also told her that's EXACTLY why i like spyderco's, pointy and SHARP!

later i found another bandaid in the box with my new SS endura.

i was SOOO embarrassed!

once my mail-ordered ulize arrives, i think my next knife will have to be a bushcraft! ;)

The Bushcraft is awesome. I really think if I were to buy any fixed blade Spyderco, that would be the one. I REALLY wish they would do the mule team program with that same blade shape and grind.

Great story! I love that they put an extra band aid in the box :) Take care with the Ulize. Its a **** of a cutter with a needle like point, very sharp!!! :D

even more embarrassing, i used the 2nd bandaid while driving back home and playing with my new endura; :spyder: bite is all i say! :rolleyes:

now i have my pinky AND my index-finger bandaided.. :p

just tried to upload a pic from my pc with a little bit of lanyard-work i did; it's WAY too big - how do i get it smaller!?

I upload my pictures to Photobucket, then copy the IMG code and paste it into my post. That lets you post larger pictures than uploading directly to the forum.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

I feel your embarrassment. I was checking out multi tools at a local department store, when I went to shut the tool I lanced my finger. I felt like such an idiot, it was a big store so they walked through the entire building with my hand up in the air blood running down my arm to the first aid center. I didn't buy the tool I was just happy to get out of there with what was left of my dignity :D

the pic and the lanyard is awful, but i do like my granite garden table in my kitchen; and of course the endura!

friggin' ****, cant wait for my ulize to arrive; and i REALLY have to get one of those bushcrafts that bit the s**it out of me! :D
