Is it just me, or is the tip on the SB Endura more pointy than the regular production model?

My order at KW is sitting at 1/2 filled (2 total). We'll see if they get the second in soon, or at all.
On order: Maxamet Native 5

Scottie, the website says Limit 1 per person. I ordered 2, got billed for 2, then they refunded me for 1. My shipping email says status is Shipped. So, I think my order is closed.

There is something funny going on with this sprint. It is a pretty big sprint at 1,200 pieces, it doesn't seem like many of them made it to the dealers, maybe a couple hundred and now all dealers have been out of stock for over a week.

It has been a while, a few Enduras made it to dealers and they seem to have mysteriously disappeared.

Howe's said they expected a shipment of a handful on 08/22 and I watched it pretty closely that day and didn't follow it much the following day.

Has anyone heard anything about this sprint? 1,200 is way too much to disappear this fast!

LOL :)

Here is something that someone on bladeforums said:

I don't know how good this information is. I don't think I've ever heard of a sprint being released in batches.

I think the Japanese sprints are like this... there are supposedly more Ti Delicas coming, too...

Just got mine in the mail today from Howes, My first endura actually (although I do have a Pacific Salt). It looks good so far, no blade play and excellent centering, looking forward to getting a patina going on it so that the blade looks even cooler.

I was just going to try it after a few strokes on the fine Sharpmaker stones followed by a good stropping. It didn't work out that way. My SB Endura ended up slicing thru two huge cardboard boxes, as they say, 'like buttah!" It won a place as my daily carry. I am truly amazed at the cutting power of this knife/steel combination, Thank you Spyderco!

I agree, it's really a performer! It seems to hold an edge even longer that the Caly/Caly3.5 SB.

Mastiff probably got them all.
Nope. Don't have the cash or connections to corner the market on Super Blue Enduras. Besides, I'd share like others have been lately. Lot of good piles of Enduras will do me if I can't sleep at night from guilt, waiting for the big Godsmack and knowing I deserved it too. Some things you can't hide from Chuck. :)

Curse you, Spyderco forumites! I've just had to order one from GPKnives to see what the fuss is about.
