Show your love for Taichung Taiwan Spydercos!
I'm pretty sure the ones stamped Taiwan and Taichung, Taiwan are the same plant. I remember Sal saying that the Taiwan plant wanted to change it to say Taichung, Taiwan.buferoe wrote:hi there,
The first editions Cat and Chicago (CF and CPM-s30V) came from a diffent manufacturier in Taiwan.
They were discontinued after some problems.

I've made no secret of my love for mine , and every thing I read on it is positive and a lot of reconsideration on first impressions .Silentman wrote:Love mine too
I think some knives stand out in that the profile in a picture can give you a sense of how it feels ergo wise.
This is one you need to get in hand IMO and when its disco,d will be a highly sought after piece owing to its uniqueness .

Hello all,
This is my first post here after several years of visiting as a non-member.
I have a fondness for all things overbuilt.
I got the Tuff about two weeks ago, and the Vallotton arrived today.
I am all about the knives from Taichung!
Sorry for the less than stellar quality of the phone pics.

Thank you. I am glad to be here, and very glad to have found this thread to make my first post.noseoil wrote:Welcome, but there's no such thing as overbuilt. That having been said, there most certainly is "underbuilt" in many cases.
