New Spydie today!

Hey all,

I've been looking for the new 2013 UKPK ffg without luck. So I decided to go with the saber grind UKPK instead. Man is it sweet. The lockup is solid and so is the fit and finish. A nice surprise was the blade itself. It's got kind of a light stonewash to it when compared to the shine of a delica or something. I'm not sure if they all look like that or if i just got lucky. Anyway, didn't happen if theres no pics so...

Looks good! Is that a saber or hollow grind? Also, what's the blade thickness? Same as Caly3? If so, hollow grind would make a mean slicer!

It's hollow grind and .5mm thinner than the caly 3! It's a sweet (nicely priced) little slicer!

Nice pick up! I love my UKPK and didn't think I would with it being a slip-joint. Its a great knife. I just wish I didn't get the combo edge.

I ordered it from Cutlery Shoppe February 15th after emailing to verify that he had the FFG version in stock.
