Time for a new challenge.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

This thread should be renamed show off your rare Spydies, that seems like what most people are doing :p

And it's making me jealous of everyone else's knives! So far the only knives I could call were taken care of on the first page (Captain and SB Caly3.5) so now I'm just sulking here looking at everyone else's rares. I suppose there could be worse ways to pass the time though :D

Well; :( it was a fun game while it lasted.

This forum is fun place, full of good people with a common interest in Spyderco knives and a common admiration for company it self.

It is a good place to visit; but it is not life, it does not feed our families, it does not pay our bills.

So it is quiet understandable that players will not always be able to respond as quickly as this game needs to keep it going.

Sadly I suggest that we may need a new rule. The simplest I can think of and easiest to administer would be something like this to be added the existing rules.

Existing: If no one submits a valid response within 24 hours of the latest challenge, the member who posted the latest challenge must submit another photo with a different Spyderco model as challenge (hopefully an easier one). Remember that fun is had when the thread is moving along and not when it's stuck.

ADD: That member has 12 hours (make it 24 hours if you like) to submit the new challenge. If no new challenge has been submitted in that time, when the game is OPEN to any person to submit a new challenge. As long as not been submitted previously, first in has it. :spyder:

Is that a C81GPGR2 Para-Military Dark Green G-10 CTS-204P blade?

From Spydiewiki: (Blue Ridge Knives distributor Exclusive, it appears that Knife Works acquired the whole run, as no other dealers carried the knife. Originally slated for delivery around June 2012, it was delayed by a year.)

My friend; :) do you have any Spyderco knives that are not very rare?
Yes, :o I am very jealous of your fine collection so far and hope we will see a lot more of it in this game.

:D I think you may have us stumped again.

Ah I was so ready to reply until I saw the steel.
Reject, I think your new rule concept is a good idea, but which knife would the next member challenge? The second most recent I guess.
I'll keep watching this thread and will definitely post some boooring challenge when I get the chance.

Any knife; as long as it has not been submitted already.

But we will wait for GSO to see what he thinks about it. :) It is his game, so his rules.

Hey Reject and all yes it is the Green Para 2 with CTS 204 P.I saw it on lot of pics in the last
2-3 month so i was thinking it can match easy. Not only my knives are rare in this thread.
I am at work now, and can change to the regular
Para (but the regular is a collector Nr. and was thinking its not easier to match) if i am back
Home.
I also was thinking that i can motivation some older collectors to make some pics of their rare
Ones. The regular production knifes we can see in lot of threads.
I am realy sorry if my knives makes problems, that was not my motivation.
Hope the next pair of knives comming soon and we can enjoy

Holiday season isn't the best time of the year to run this game.
I'm sure the pace will get better in a few weeks.

:) No problems my friend.

I am just keeping the list up to date and need to know or if not; check on the details of each knife submitted to do that.

The regular Para-Military 2 C81GP2 has already being submitted. I just forgot to but it on the list and to make things worse; :o I was the person that submitted the Para.

Please motivate all the collectors you can to come and play.

I am seeing so many rare Spyderco models that I would most likely never see anywhere else.

:D This is a good thing.

Speaking of which, I'm currently in Costa Rica a few minutes from embarking on an early bird nature tour. I'm in support of Rejects proposed rule after seeing we need to breathe new life into this thread. Please feel free to discuss and flesh it out with Reject, then I'll update the rules in the first post when I get the chance.

Gotta go.

The green Para 2 isn't too rare right now. Here's one green for another.

I like the kickout rule to allow the game to keep going even if the member whom last posted can't get back here in 24 hours. Maybe allow 12 hour grace period past that 24 hour mark (36 hour minimum from latest challenge)? Either way I thought the challenge was missing something.
