Mule Team Usage

I thought it'd be worth while to do a poll on what everyone does with their Mule Teams. This isn't restricted to just the latest Mule.

It should have been a checkbox style poll, which allows you to select multiple options, and it should have included an option for "use it whenever the heck I finally get around to putting handles on it" choice :D
◊ Manix 2 XL ◊ Manix 2 lightweight blue ◊ Caly 3 carbon fiber ◊ Caly 3 damascus / CF ◊ Lum Chinese Nishijin ◊ Sage 1 ◊ Superleaf
◊ Dragonfly FRN serrated ◊ Endura Gen 1 ◊ Rescue Gen 1 ◊ Endura 4 FFG ◊ Delica 4 half serrated ◊ Mule Team ◊ Spin ◊ Bushcraft UK
◊ S110V Forum Native 5 ◊ Black Nishijin Cricket

The K390 is my first Mule, so I'm not sure how I'll use it. I guess it depends how scale making goes.
But I was hoping to use it in the kitchen (if corrosion isn't a problem).

I thought about the multiple choice, should have probably done it.

For me, I use them pretty good. My CTS-XHP got used a lot for cardboard and whatever else. K390 will be the same.

What about "occasional use", "outdoor use", EDC, "chopping", "digging", "prying", etc? Or even "covert de-animation activity"? Oh, wait. Wrong company. LOL

I buy 2 of each so I can beat the crap out of one, experiment with edge angles and whatever else occurs to me, and still have one to put nice handles on and use more like a normal person.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

Sorry, no blood groves on the Mule. But I think "Use and Abuse" might cover the rest of those?

Here's some outdoor use for you:

I keep one in the kitchen (currently the Elmax) and one at work for breaking down boxes (currently the K390 that just came in today, but previously the B75P).
I've bought spares on the recent ones that were talked up a lot in advance on the theory that they'd be sold out before I got a chance to evaluate them.
I guessed correctly on this one!

I got 2, so I'm going to use and abuse one and keep the other one in the box. If I like the first one, I'll probably end up abusing the second one too. If I don't like the K390 as much as I hope to, I'll probably end up just "collecting" the other one, and leave it in the box for the indefinite future.

I voted collecting, but that's just because I have way more mules than I have handle scales. But that will change soon. No, I'm not getting rid of Mules :p ; I moved not too long ago and have a place to use my tools, so I can finally get back to making handles again!
