Nice color Spencer. The grey shade now brings out the carbon fiber contrast!

I agree! such an amazing knife! If i would have bought this earlier in my collecting career, i would not have pursued the paramilitaries to the degree i did. would have saved a lot of money. in terms of F&F, the GB is on another level compared to the para2s. couldnt be happier with it :)

Latest changes in my Caly 3 Super Blue. I really am loving the organic feeling of the natural patina.

I read an article that said this coloration would come from red meats, but this was 90% vegetables. Jalapeno, red bell, orange bell and serano peppers as well as onion, apple and sweet potato. I have used it for steak and chicken, but the coloration had already started!

That looks terrific, almost like a Hamon line along the edge.

I gave it a 10 minute white vinegar bath which started the darkening process then followed it up with normal use.

very cool scotty, I did the same thing to mine, it lightens up and leaves a much nicer shade (IMO) after some real world use :)

scottie, I like the horizontal grain lines on the cider soaked Caly. It almost looks like a damascus blade in your lighting.

Here's my Super Blue Caly 3 and 3.5.
Caly 3.5's patina is from cutting strawberries, the Caly 3 was soaked in vinegar.
