Of all the collaboration models I have, the Nilakka sees the most pocket time and actual use.
I don't believe in safe queens, only in pre-need replacements.

I'd have to go with Michael Janich with the Yojimbo and Jason Breeden's Captain. Two of my favorite knives and most carried Spydercos. Both great utility knives, and they complement each other nicely.

I have only the Bradley, Southard, and Techno collabs. I think each is great in its own way, but each in its own way has encouraged me to experience the Stretch, which in a curious way is a collaboration between Sal and his earlier self... Now I have two.

The best Spyderco collaboration is your own...

That said, I think the second best is the Rock Salt.

Can't go wrong with Bob Lum's work.

Terzuola's Starmate is right up there too!

That's like asking me to pick my favorite kid. At any given time I like one more than the other, but I could never name a definitive favorite. (Unless asked directly by one of them, then it is always the other ;) )

Looks like just a lighting issue. Look at the swedge grind on the Zulu. It's the proper color but the rest of the blade is dark too.

My vote goes to the original collaboration with Bob Terzuola. This was Sal's first collaboration and, in my opinion, still one of the best Spyderco lines ever released.

Man, all of these are making me sore I wasn't into the knife game earlier. Especially all of those discontinued Schempps!

I like almost all of them, but Shempp and Lum are at the top for me.

My personal favorites are the PPT and Gayle Bradley.
