OD Delica on the way!

#1

Post by Jeff/1911 »

Hi Folks,

I just had to share my excitement about having an Olive Drab, black blade, combination edge VG-10 Delica on it's way to me. I've admired this knife since it first appeared on the scene awhile back. And now; through a trade on BF, I have one coming...with a Normark neck sheath no less! I think this should make a great combination.

Does anyone have a decent picture of this knife (for me to drool over)? I'm having a lot of trouble finding them online. If so, it could be sent to me at:

pinshooter@canada.com

Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.

Best wishes, Jeff/1911.

I received the OD Delica today. It is really nice, and seems to be even better "fit" than my other VG-10 Delica. It is absolutely tight and play free, yet smooth and effortless to cycle.

I really like the looks of the flat black blade coating against the Olive Drab colored FRN handles. I will be interested to see how the coating holds up, but I'll probably baby this one because I like the appearance of the knife so much. My trade buddy even threw in a kydex neck sheath for it too! Here's a picture of the knife in sheath:

Nick,

Thanks for the warning, I'll be careful with it.

I have a new picture of this knife in it's sheath, this time with a matching lanyard that came from my Buck grunt call - a perfect match!

Here is the location:

tommyb,

I am told it was a product of On/Scene Tactical, Eric is the sheath maker himself. Here is a link to a Knifeforums page, where he has posted a message. The info for his website is listed there.

Jeff.
