I ordered my Caly 3 SB on the 23rd from KW. Order status still has not changed from pre order. :/ I hope I wasn't too late. I literally ordered as soon as I found out these things were available. I missed out on the 3.5s, really hope the 3 lands on my doorstep :( .

I think they are still making their way to the dealers. I had preordered one from KC on January 15th (along with a Calypso and SuperLeaf) and just got my shipping notice yesterday.

Thanks Philo, I placed an order.

They have free shipping, but are in my state, so I paid $6 something in taxes. I hope it arrives quick.

Great deals on both at HKS, wish I never rushed and placed my order with NGK...

Coulda saved myself $23.83 and gotten non-CC# blades and boxes that likely wouldn't have been torn/smashed/opened.
Displeased with NGK on the box issue. I don't plan on reselling, but if I do it'll likely hurt resale value.

You never know when you should jump on a Sprint run knife. I guess most of the time the price will be lower after the 1st or 2nd wave. Once in a while, you have a Sprint run and the price just takes off and it is usually because of the demand. I guess the Caly 3 Super & Calypso are Sprints where they made plenty so the inventory supply is sufficent so the price had dropped a bit for them. I think I ordered a couple of Spydies from NGK a while back and one of them had a box that was smashed.

Yea, they shipped fast and it was in no way a negative transaction, but I feel they were most likely display pieces. At least they matched the CC#'s  .

After missing out on the SB Caly 3.5 I pounced on these as soon as I could have. I might pick up another Calypso as I'm sure it'll be a classic, unless it's brought back into regular production.

My Caly 3 came in today, seems very nice. No problems with The Spyder Store, either.
