No, I don't eather, just used it as an example. It can be awkward around ur family lol .gbelleh wrote:The Para 2 and Southard are my favorites. But I don't play around with knives while watching TV or otherwise distracted. I got cut badly with a knife once as a kid, and that's enough.

I want to techno but that guy's new kitchen folder design is what I'd really want as opposed to it unless a bigger, slightly redesigned techno comes out.GTPowers wrote:Used to be my Manix2 but it got benched behind my Techno! I love the *tha-whack* the lock makes on the little thing.

Hey guys,
The Southard is my current favorite.
Thumb flicking and flipping right handed is pure fun.
The left hand middle finger Spydie flick has been a workout though.
I've never been able to do it with either hand, but due to arthritis in my left middle finger, it's been my form of therapy.
I still can't pull it off 100% of the time.
Practice, practice, practice!
Later,
Don

Usually it's whatever Spydie came in latest. Opening, closing and rotating the knife in my hands while watching TV or listening to a podcast is -for me- a great way to get a feel for the knife. The Bifold is a great 'toy' in this respect, I wish it was still being made; to give it a chance to evolve. I think the edge geometry and ergos could still be tweaked, given enough production time and ELU feedback. When the kids join me on the couch, and I do get to have a ´free´ hand, I don´t play with edges, just a Baliyo.
