They used to be saber. It was a rolling change. I would ask the dealer which is being sold.

The FFG ZDP Delicas have been available for 2 or 3 years. If you order a Delica with ZDP and get a saber grind I'd bet the knife has been sitting on someone's shelf for quite some time. I may be wrong but I thought Spyderco stopped making the saber grind when they introduced the FFG blades. I had both and LOVE the FFG blade on Delicas.

I here you jackknifeh, make mine FFG.
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

Defnitely ask the dealer. The ones in my shop are saber-ground (also plain edge, combo edge, and spyderedge), but they've cut the line back (if I'm not mistaken) to just FFG plain edge.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

My regular store, Knife Center, in College Park, Md., seems to only carry the saber ground. But I've found some other stores on the web that carry the FFG in British Racing Green. So I should be able to get one. I have a Ladybug, Dragonfly, and Stretch in ZDP, so I need the Deli to fill the gap. ZDP cuts like a laser.

You might check the Dfly2 in ZDP as well. Cheaper and only FFG. Plus it seems some dealers have the Delica on back order at the moment.

I have the D-fly ZDP. I like it so much that I have to have its' big brother (Delica) too.

We are Spydertwins! Well, I don't actually have the ladybug yet, but I did just gift one to my brother-in-law. I'll probably be along with a manbug sooner or later, but I think the Delica is my next one.
