My "realistic" dream Sprint would be a clipless Kopa with easily replaceable scales.

My "absolute" dream Sprint would be a Stretch with an Odin's Eye Damasteel blade, dent-free lockbar, smooth stainless steel front bolsters, ivory scales, and no provision for clip mounting, but I know the only way I'll ever see one of those is if I can find someone willing and able to rebuild a CF Stretch that way.

Large Persian or Kris with Odin's Eye Damasteel, stonewashed Ti bolsters, and CF handles (preferably Taiwan style CF).

Fluted Ti Millie with CPM-M4 core clad in Devin Thomas' feather Damascus.

Dialex Junior with textured bronze bolsters, some sort of burled wood handle, and superblue blade.

I'm easy to please. Right now i'd like to see a DLC Yojimbo 2.

Beyond that, I want a wharnie Manbug, i'd like to see the DLC Manix 2 come out in FFG, and i'd like to see the Junior offered in an exotic sprint steel.

How about an 18" Machete with a Spyder Edge, made out of H1, with everything but the edge coated with black TiN and a black canvas micarta handle. All for 75 bucks! :D

For $75 you could buy 8-9 and just retire/resell them when they faded ;) (but it wouldn't be $75 of course)

I'm with you on the steel, Joe, but not the knife. I tried to like Milis (and there's absolutely nothing wrong with them) but I just can't keep them in my pocket. Too big for my typical EDC I guess.... Maybe in something smaller though!

And I'd love to see K294 show up in something like a CF Native.

I'd like to see a Lum Chinese in superblue steel with damascus bolsters and translucent jade green G10 scales - a bit different from previous versions, but not out of the realm of possibility.

That Native would be sweet. I don't know enough about B75.

I would go for a Lil Matriarch, G-10, ZDP, Hollow Chisel Ground with PE. :)

Or maybe a Manix 2/Manix 2 XL with M390, CTS-20CP, Elmax, or Mastiffwear.

I'd like to see one of my favourite: Tim zowada, obviously with CF handle, and M4 steel. I do not have any version of this model, but this I would really like! I'd also like a new version of Centofante 3... zdp189 and gray handle?!

I have wanted this for a long time...

Large Goddard... G-10 handle... contoured G-10 (like the Zulu)

I would buy 12...

Spyderedged Sprint Runs?

#40

Post by JD Spydo »

There are 4 great models that I truly wish would be made available in Spyderedge. Two of them were at one time on the main line up and are both very sought after. Here they are in the order I would like to see them in:
#1 > Harpy with G-10 handle SE
#2> C-60 Ayoob SE with G-10 handle
#3> Superhawk in SE
#4> C-111 Captain in SE ( inner arched part in SE)

I do sincerely believe that the first two would be gobbled up quickly because they are 2 of the most sought after Spyderedged blades ever. Numbers 3 & 4 I believe should have been offered in SE from the get-go.
Long Live the SPYDEREDGE Spyderco Hawkbills RULE!!
