How come I am having trouble finding Paramilitary 2

I have checked many sites and the only place I can find them is for bid on Ebay. I already have one. I want another. It is my favorite knife.

They have just been a shortage on them. Spyderco cant keep up to the demand

Don't know where on amazon you are looking... but I see both satin/black and satin digicam Para2s on amazon right now!!! They say Paramilitary only (ie, no 2)... but look closely and you will see it is actually a Para2! I have bought 3 off of amazon (1 as a gift 2 for me!) w/in the past few days. They are out there... easy to find... first on page! Look again.

Are you in the us ? Amazon uk doesn't/can't sell knives like that but there is a stock shortage everywhere although the main man has said they are doing what they can to get them out.

I have been making this same exact thread for 2 months now.

I refuse to pay over $130 but besides that no Site has them instock.

Look for all blacl Para 2 DLC black and nothing.

I read on here somewhere where Sal said that they were working on some more.
They are one of the more popular ones going now. The Yojimbo and forum knife
were in the mix as well as far as the Golden factory. Perfection takes time.

Yes, I am in the US. Is the Para2 even legal in the UK? The satin/black one I bought last week is dated coded KL ( November 2012), so I believe they are starting to produce them again. As I said above amazon has satin/black and even some satin/digicams right now. I wondering if Spyderco is ramping up to meet Christmas demand (hope so).

Amazon has the satin/digicam version for $108 right now (just bought a couple yesterday hoping to get today or tomorrow) which seems a pretty reasonable price these days--all things considered. The satin/black version they also have in stock is a bit more for some reason at $115. Though oddly enough, I bought a satin/black from them the day before Thanksgiving for the $108 price. Not sure why the price increase of $7.

However, I have not seen any DLC/black anywhere.

If I did I would probably snag one... it's now the last "standard" versions of the Para2 I don't have and I'd like to complete the set. Also as I mentioned above the satin/black one I just got was dated coded KL (Nov 2012), so it looks like maybe production is probably picking up to meet Christmas demand??? Hope so.

I don't think you guys are looking enough, just saw that bladehq has the black/satin in stock, knife center has the camo/satin in stock, and amazon has the black/satin and camo/satin blades in stock. In fact I just placed an order for two as backups.

You're not having trouble finding one, you're just having trouble finding one deeply discounted. I know these good folks have several versions of the PM2, and I'd bet at least a few other place them too.

FYI... just noticed... BladeHQ has the satin/black version (and only the satin/black) now in stock as well. Looks like Spyderco is getting them back out there again.

No offense but search settings can solve like 90% of these threads. Also, if paying $10 more cures anxiety it's the best therapy ever.

They are not legal carry eg without reasonable warrant like the ukpk but they're not illegal to buy like balisong which aren't illegal to own but to buy , sell or make confused yet?

That is one very expensive website, but yes they are definitely out there, i just ordered two from amazon

Wow, that is pretty non-sensical! :) why do people (& I am including Americans in this statement) let governments do this stuff to them? (Btw, that statement is meant purely a rhetorical... I am not trying to start a political discussion!). :)
