Lucky you!

I just got shipping confirmation on mine and it should be here just in time for Christmas. Perfect for Christmas day carry I think. :)

Thanks for the review and pics. I really like how this knife has its own designed clip instead of recycling the hourglass clip from other models.

IIRC it is supposed to be 4mm like the Techno.

+1

Though it wouldve been nice if the contour of the clip where it attaches to the scale matched the contour of the scale. Its just off enough to ruin the clean vectors.
Sorry to nitpick, looks awesome otherwise.

I do like this knife and will probably pick one up later on when they are easier to get hold of.

Whoa, that's a lot of blade compared to handle (almost as long as the Military). I like the narrow blade profile, and the shape. Hope the handle is roomy enough since its smaller than the Para 2, but without the choil.

Given that most clips are configurable these days, it is interesting to see only RH tip up for this one.

I like it.

The Techno is 4,5 mm thick and the Southard is 4 mm thick, just like the Starmate and the Szabo. The Techno still is the fatest one out there ;)

Oh that Southard is sweet, I'll have to wait until later next year to scoop one up if they're still available.
It means, hopefully, that the issues with the steel are over and manufacture of the Green Para2 can proceed... once it can be rotated into Golden's production schedule again. One thing I learned from discussion with Sal & Eric was the complexity of the scheduling for the Golden plant, quite a rubik's cube.

Anyone know if the clip is titanium or steel. Not sure I like the stock clip, but no worries as everything else looks great :D

Unfortunatly the clip is steel, would have prefered Ti, but guys like STR will certainly make aftermarket deep carry clips. I will certainly ask some guys to make one.

Two questions. Any idea if the lock face is carbidized or carborized??? Because it def doesnt look like there is an insert on the lock bar. 2nd Question. How smooth is the ball baring system on it? Wondering if you have handled a Zt 0560/0561 or a Kershaw Tilt and if you have how would you compare the smoothness of the baring system and the flipper?

Thanks. Slightly disappointing, but I'll see if I can make a clip out of some grade II I have.

I would be interested in this ZT smoothness comparison as well.
