Titanium Bottleopener/Pocketclip on Kickstarter-- The Pickpocket

#1

Post by Pickpocket »

I just wanted to share my design with you guys, as I'm sure alot of you would get excited about it :D Its a titanium bottle opener, with an integrated pocketclip. Considering Spyderco pioneered the pocketclip, I don't need to explain to you guys how that's useful

created by a knife nut, for knife nuts haha

take a peek, and spread the word! word of mouth can mean all the difference for the project!

Wish the pocket clip was turned 90° so it would lay flat. Also, my pocket edge is reserved for my Spyderco :)

Very cool design :)

No offense intended but this might be seen as solicitation. (I still dig the design tho!)

I apologize if it came across that way... I'm just a little excited about the design ;) (I might be biased though haha)

I just pledged $40. Been wanting a keychain clip, and this looks promising.

Probably too far along in the project and I suspect you wouldn't want the extra expense but I think you're missing a a trick.

Do away with the current key ring hole so that's solid material and make it into a pry tip. Use the next hole up for the key ring. It would save all those knife tips that have to be resorted to in an emergency for opening! It wouldn't need to be fully sharp so wouldn't be a pain in the pocket and the key ring would still move over the end nicely.

As I said, I expect it's not something you're bothered about but just a bottle opener and a clip seems a bit limiting considering the size of it. I expected to see a bit more to it.
Cheers,
Stew.
