New to the forum, not to Spyderco

Post by KrisOK »

Hi folks!

Don't know why I've never registered here before. I've been collecting Spydercos for several years, with my latest addition arriving today, a Sage 4 to complete my Sage series:

Currently I have just about 60 Spydies, which I'm sure isn't many for you guys, but according to my wife, it's WAY too many

I'm happy to be here, and I'm sure that I'll learn alot more than I do now about my favorite brand of knives!

60! That's a healthy collection. I only have about 25 or so.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome. Nice group of Sages you have. 60 spydies is nothing to be ashamed of.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

Welcome to the forum Kris. Congratulations on the Sage4. It is one of my favorites. I can't really decide between it and the Gayle Bradley. I guess the Sage4 wins by a nose because it gets more pocket time. I've changed my Sage4 so it only looks like a Sage by shape. I truely think the knife fits my desire as a perfect EDC knive. Anyway, glad you joined and you have enough knives to have a good opinion of favorites for carry. Which do you like to carry most? Which have uses for specific types of cutting? And, which ones do you just look at? :)

Thanks for the welcome guys!

It's a bit on the dark side, but here's a group shot of all but 2 of my current Spydies.

Image

The other 2 are a pair of Delicas that stay in the cars. I HAVE been known to do the unthinkable and leave the house without a knife
