Its hard to show wear on my most used knife, the M390 para2- it doesnt scratch easy at all. There are dings on the G10, superglue on part of it (whoops) and through stupid abuse, lock is 100% ( i have a tab of alu foil in there usually to make lockup earlier ) hasnt let me down :)

Great idea for a thread. Hope more people reply. It reminds me of that picture ToneyDaHose posted of his old yellow Tasman he gifted to his Lt. Now THAT knife was a warrior! Yellow handle was practically black from soot and smoke. Great pic. Maybe the best I've seen of a rugged user that's been through the mill.

Old Dragonfly, doesn't really get used much these days. Lives in my tool box now.

Amazingly the most wear my knives usually show is scratches on the blade and clip. Beyond that they're pretty blemish free. The G10 has started to polish on the ones i carry the most but i don't think i have any with real damage to them.

This one has been on me everyday since I got it in march 2010. It's not the original clip, the first one I polished but it snapped off when I tried to slide down a snow hill. Odered a new one from Spyderco and left it black. I think about polishing this one too.

I still have it :

I carry the Delica at work and abuse the bejesus out of it.
Image
I've dropped it numerous times so the 1/2 in closest to the tip is chipped like crazy and the tip is rounded.

I use and abuse it daily and it keeps on ticking.

Somehow the more woulds it has the more you love it.
Been carrying my Endura for a month in a half now.
Love the knife, its scratched, its kind of beat up but I still carry it and will carry it till it fails which will be a sad day...

When I received my Transparent Manix CTS-BD1 I was cutting some stuff and clipped my finger. It cut from the scar all the way to the nail under my skin. Deepest cut I have recieved from a spydie so far. Lesson is don't be stupid because they will bite! :)
