That's just sweet Roger. Congratz.
:spyder: Centofante3 (C66PBK3), ParaMilitary2 (C81GPCMO), Endura4 (C10P), GrassHopper (C138P), Military (C36GPCMO), Perrin PPT (C135GP), Squeak (C154PBK), Dragonfly 2 Salt (C28PYL2), Military M390 CF (C36CFM390P), R (C67GF), ParaMilitary2 CTS-XHP (C81GPOR2), Tuff (C151GTIP), Ladybug & Perrin Street Bowie (FB04PBB)being the newest.
Mine showed up today, I love it. Its much smaller than I was expecting but its awesome in hand. I love the blue back spacer and the massively thick blade. It feels very very solid and the finish matches the Prototype more than I was expecting. I did not know if i was going to like it but once I handled it I knew it was quality.
Great Job MarcinS, Sal and Spyderco!

I kept mine in my pocket all weekend, and did a little whittling with it. It is a really cool knife, smaller than I had imagined it but very comfortable in my hand. Of course with that thick blade it is very stout, and although mine came *very* sharp, it of course is not a good of a slicer as a say, my Centofante with its thin blade :) . It strikes me as right at the same size as my Ambitious and Cat, but sturdier and heavier.
Definitely a keeper for me, but then I've never gotten rid of a Spyderco except those I've given to family/friends :) .

Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)
I can take more pics later today, but for now, this video might help. LINK TO VIDEO: http://youtu.be/dRVP_o-zdUwSpygineer wrote:Hello eloreno - Any chance you can post additional pictures comparing the dragonfly and the techno? Specifically closed and spine views? Thanks in advance.
Just got my Techno in the mail this morning. This is quite an impressive little knife. Tank-like, ultra high quality, precision built, but with the beautifully worn look of stonewashed steel and titanium.
I knew it was small, but it's a bit smaller than I pictured. It's rock solid, locks up tight, has a nice mass to it, but isn't overly heavy or chunky, IMO. The blue backspacer is a little more subdued looking in person than it seemed in pictures, and adds a nice touch of visual interest, and functional gripping surface. As far as I can tell, mine is flawless in every way. Overall, this is one of those knives that I like much more than expected. It's really a very nice piece of work. It might seem expensive, but this knife seems to be on par with similar knives twice the price. I'm very pleased with the Techno. The craftsmen in Taichung should be proud.
I'll try to take some comparison pics this afternoon.

Here are a few more pics...
For scale, here is the Techno next to a Dragonfly, Leaf Storm, Sage 2, and Delica 4.

The Techno's blade is thick! Here it is with a Dragonfly on the left and Leaf Storm on the right.

Back view. Although the Techno is a stout little knife, it's not really much thicker than the Leaf Storm.

The Techno gives you a little more cutting edge, and I find the Techno's ergos much easier to deal with than the Leaf Storm's. The Techno is actually very comfortable in hand, and I believe, less likely to bite.

The deep carry wire clip and stonewashed finish are very nice features. The lock bar of the Techno is thick and strong, and locks open with authority.

I know the tolerances are tighter on the Sebenza, but in reality, I don't see any difference in quality or function. Though the Sebenza offers more cutting edge, and is likely the better slicer.

IMO, the Techno is the most custom-like, and one of the highest quality Spydercos I've ever held. Very impressive, and worth every penny.
