Military Titanium

Hows everyone doing with the Military Ti ? Anyone edc'n that knife, and how are you liking it? Thanks.
I'd rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

It's one of my favorites and I'll EDC it as long as I'm wearing jeans. If I'm wearing Khaki's it's a lil too heavy on the pocket.

CF hood?
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

Love it but i think the weight takes away some of the magic for the Military. Part of what makes that knife so awesome is the size to weight ratio.

I havent had a chance to hold ti Millie yet. I have a cf one and love how lite weight it is. As said earlier, the weight to size ratio is one reason I like my cf Millie so much. I am not sure yet that I would like the ti Millie if it is a lot heavier.
Thanks,

Marty

Not a prob, I carried the knife today in honor of your thread and then I saw the picture opportunity. Glad you liked but more glad it drew people in. We're all a sucker for a picture. haha

My sentiments exactly....

As much as I love titanium framelocks, the heft of this Millie took the 'magic' away for me. I prefer the plain black G10/S30V version.....so lightweight that it just disappears in my pocket.

Btw, Chuck, that's an awesome pic. :D

I prefer the heft of my Ti over the others. If you want light Ti you gotta get the Fluted version, it's a fraction of the weight and your wallet will be considerably lighter as well. ;)

I'd prefer a "better" blade steel for the money than an upgraded handle. That's just me though. ;)

If only had one to choose and thats all I could have I'd agree with you, but for what I do S30v is more steel than I could ever need.

Mine is only good for the forum, I took it really quickly just for this thread when I was outside chatting it up with one of our detailers this afternoon. He had just cleaned the car down and it worked. I may bring in a nicer camera to work, line up the shot better and try for it again though. ;) Thanks tho!

I agree. That's a lot of bucks for a less-than-supersteel blade steel. And, your photo is outstanding.
