have you cut yourself while closing your Tenacious? Only counts if it drew blood of course.

Hey guys,
i edc'd my tenacious for months and months, and never got bit one time.
The only knives that i have to be careful closing are a couple of my slipits, especially the small ones like the kiwi, grasshopper, and honeybee.
Later,
Don

Never cut myself closing it.

Nope, if the blade does hit my thumb it just bounces off my thumbnail. And yes, it's very sharp. The weight of the blade alone is not enough to cut into the nail. I guess if you pushed the blade closed against your leg without moving your thumb you might get cut...that's not a good habit to get into though.

Closing it, No.
Juggling 3, Yes.
I try not to close any knife TOO fast, if I have cut myself in any
situation it was user error, not knife design.
And welcome Kid Shamrock.

Answered no. But I did cut the b3j33zus out of my finger last week closing a Case Peanut. Attempted a one handed close on the small pen blade while working some food prep with my left hand. Ouch. As with all my knife cuts, it was clearly user error.

Not from closing it, but the detent on mine was a little light for tip up carry and I got bit a couple of times reaching into my pocket.

I was closing a Tenacious this weekend and did notice how it has a tendency to
come down on the thumb nail. No blood , No worries.
