I ended up buying one yesterday. I thought I got a good deal until I saw INFRNL's $111.90 price, but I am still happy about it.
The important thing was that I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time. You couldn't get white onions, because of the war. The only thing you could get was those big yellow ones...

I got an email from Spydietalk about it with a link to purchase. I think the price was $126.99 + shipping.

this one isn't a Sprint. It's a distributor special order/exclusive, right? With all the other Para Sprints and exclusives this one is pretty boring so I was not tempted at all.

I just came to that same realization.. just as I was about to finish my check-out at KnifeWorks. I'll hold out for something else.

I got mine from knifeoutlet, but I think I might have gotten one of the last ones. I have not seen them on the site anymore since. Cheapest price you'll probably will find atm is $135
EDIT: I did find a link to KO, but price is now $120 plus shipping

I think I really like brown; especially since my knives get dirty and muddy at times. Brown hides brown a lot easier :)

I preorderd this one a while back & then promptly forgot all about it. Yesterday, I got am email letting me know my card didn't go through(I preorderd with a card I don't even have any longer, oops)! Bec,ause of that, I actually considered just letting it go, maybe just getting a regular version...but then I saw the pics on this thread, & how fantastic that earth brown looks, & I changed my mind & pulled the trigger! I absolutely love how it looks! This will be my very first PM2, I'm only paying about $20 more than the standars models, so I'm cool with that, still well worth it to me. Can't wait to get my paws on it!

I would have to agree with Ted that the detent on my brown Para 2 holds the knife closed much firmer as well. Almost sticky to open. Also found this to be true on the Digi-Cam DLC P2 I have. Hopefully it will ease up some with use? Love the Para 2, can't wait for the orange and green. Almost wish Spyderco would quit coming out with so many beautiful knives ;) This is an expensive habit :(

I cant wait to get the green one either! I missed out on the orange preorder so I will have to find one on the secondary market! :(

I have been carrying mine to work all week and it is finally loosening up enough to close easier.
My favorite Spyderco knives include: Caly 3.5, Chaparral, Delica 4 FFG, Stretch, Para-Military 2, Endura 4 FFG, Manix 2 & Manix 2 XL!

Mine should be here Saturday. Pre-ordered it last year because I love the brown G10 on my XHP Millie. But now that I have the Blue M390 nothing is going to kick it out of my pocket so I'm having a little buyers remorse. Gave my plain Jane Para2 to my son-in-law. It will look nice along side the orange and green ones I've got coming though. Life is good.

Got mine in the mail today, just as smooth to open and close as my other three, no problems with an overly strong detent, the only thing that is different is the blade is pointier than my blue one (and also a couple of millimeters longer), very glad I found a good price on this one, or I probably wouldn't have gotten it.

Just received mine in the mail yesterday. Wow this thing is nice! Really smooth action and the blade hair popping sharp. Can't wait to try out this s35vn steel.

The PM 2 hasn't really been on my radar until a month or so ago. Always thought it would be too large and too tactical/mean looking. Changed my mind after I saw the new orange, blue and brown sprints/exclusives. After checking the stats I found that it was even a tad smaller than my Endura and this one I adore. The orange and blue ones were totally unobtainable but I found a brown one for a mostly reasonable price on the *bay. Shipping and import taxes included I paid about the same as I would have for the plain black one here in Germany. Not such a bad deal.

The knife got here after a 4 weeks journey across the Atlantic and a short stint at customs. I was surprised how nice the brown looked and the G-10 has a really nice texture. It's such a good looking knife I could hardly put it down. Would carry it more often if laws would allow me to do so. Being things as they are I carried it the whole weekend and put it through some light garden tasks and used it to unpack some Ikea furniture. Love the compression lock. This is one handsome piece of knife.

This is the first Para sprint that I chosen to ignore. Ho-hum color ho-hum steel.

Thanks for the great pic, and I agree with you on the G10.

IMO, it is the best looking G10 Spyderco has made. I like earth tone colors, and also like the Foliage Green.
I have all the PM2's except the Carbon Fiber, and the brown is the one I carry. I also think S35V is a very good tough all around steel.
