New Para 2 sprints??

#1

Post by Vicinadp »

Was wondering if any of yall know the next sprints that will be available on the para 2 and where we could pre-order them because I have tried to pre order the last two springs I sold but by the time I saw the page where I could pre-order them they were sold out.

This one will be a Walmart exclusive, so no preordering :( but they're ready to ship this coming may from what i've heard. They will have the same camo blade coating used on the Nutnfancy tenacious/persistence.

My Wal-mart has a pre-order price of $649.99, I pre-ordered 5, had to sell my car though, but worth it.

The short answer is that all we know right now is what's in the catalog as sprints and what's on the "Exclusives" page on the website. The best way not to miss the next one is just to keep checking in here.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

All the sprints I've found out about have been from threads here or on bladeforums spyderco sub-forum, usually at least one thread in each place sometimes more.

I think we should dub this "The Year of the Para2 Sprints". Grey, Blue, Brown, Orange, and Green. Oh, my!

To the OP, you can still get the smurph blue PM2 if you want to spend the money, Bento Box Shop still shows them in stock. I guess technically it's not a sprint run, it's a dealer exclusive, if that matters to you.
Which Knife, A or B? get Both! (and C, D and E) :)

I think the Para2 has been sprinted to death. It would be nice to see Spyderco take a Para2 breather and allocate that time and resources to other areas of their fantastic lineup. From what I've read here & elsewhere knives like the Yojimbo 2 had to take a back seat because of the numerous Para2 runs.

Completely agreed. I understand the concept of striking when the iron is hot but it's gotten a bit confusing.

Lets pump out more Yo2's and work on other stuff like the Chinook4 :D . Please go hollow-grind and 3.5" blade so I can carry one, tks!
