Carbon Fiber Millie
Carbon Fiber Millie
So last week i received a C36CFP Millie in trade. Its NIB, I mean there's not a scratch on it, blade or pocket clip. I've been carrying it for the last week, but have'nt cut anything with it yet. I heard there was only 400 of these made,so am i nutts for carrying it ? I'm not usually one for having a knife and not using it. I do have plenty of other ones though. Its pretty **** cool not to use. What do you think ?
I traded a used Chinook 1 and a Used Boker/Nealy fixed blade for it. It was kinda hard to get an exact value on the Millie. Found them on the net for anywhere from 175 to 300 bucks. The trade was with my nephew, we swap knives back and forth all the time. So if i didn't get the upper hand this time,i will next time[LOL]. I'm happy with the deal and the knife,so its all good.
If that is from a 400 piece run then it is the S30V. If you want to use it, I'd trade it for the S90V, M390 or BG-42 and then use the one with the nicer steel.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

+1. There's more of all of those and they're higher end steels. I would trade up if you're going to use it. Or give it to me :D . I bet you could easily get someone with an M390 to trade you.Sequimite wrote:If that is from a 400 piece run then it is the S30V. Ride that pony. You can carry another smaller\lighter knife in one of your pockets for
"rough" cutting and use the Millie for more general stuff. If I have to cut cardboard,
carpet etc, I pull out my rough knife and use it. Some things havea tendency to scratch
the heck out of a blade.
Nice find by the way and welcome.
