Ahhh. Actually, I had guessed that and hadn't had you in mind in any of my posts above. Glad you can still receive things like this with such a simple fix! :) :spyder:

I just received notification that mine has shipped from Knifeworks. Hopefully I will be able to see for myself in a day or two. :)

Mine arrived today and I can't find anything wrong with it upon a cursory inspection, but I am no expert. From what my inexperienced naked eye can tell, -finish is good, blade perfectly centered when closed, very sharp, lock up tight at first 1\3 like my other Millies, the knife seems to be without flaw.

I really like the texture of the carbon fiber handles compared to the standard military model G-10, and maybe it is just me (but my son noticed it as well), the knife feels slightly lighter than standard.

I am pleased with it, and it is put up while I continue to use my oldest most used Military. :)

Ok its here, centered perfectly, solid lockup at about 40% maybe a little late for some You tell me pic comming but for me it works "sh*t house solid" can't even force any play. Jimping is what it is, although on my s90v it's better, and the only thing I noticed but very minor is on the inside edges of the carbon fiber scales there was some random burs/ruff spots but nothing a quick finger nail did not remove in 2 secs. Overall I'ts solid like what I've come to expect from the Golden, Co. Knives. Those and the Seki Citiy models are the only ones I like to buy.

Crappy iPhone pics......

Nice pictures - your lock-up is a lot later than mine, but still looks solid.

Would the later lock-up affect it negatively in the long run?? Like with normal wear, it's going to be a user like all my knives?

I don't know how much it will wear nor how fast, but if it "wears in"' it will move to the right overtime with wear. It looks fine to me, but I suggest posting pictures in another thread asking specific opinions from people more knowledgeable ref Spydercos, and if the consensus is to send it in, do so now while it is new - IMO.

For what its worth - I had a standard Military model that was locking up late and sent it in for service and it came back locking up sooner after proper adjustment by repair.

Mine has been waiting for me at home for the past few weeks, while I was away working. I just got home today and got this baby in hand. It's beautiful...

Love that peel ply carbon fiber. The jimping isn't perfect, but I honestly wouldn't have even noticed it if not for that other thread pointing it out. This is my first Military, and I can't wait to put this thing to good use. I'm going to throw a nice polish on it tonight with my WEPS.

Thanks Sal and everyone else involved with putting this great sprint knife out.
