Replacing my Spyderco Persistence. Need some help!

#1

Post by Kousii »

I have been EDCing my Persistence for about a month and a half. I really love this knife. I want an upgrade though. I want a knife with similar size. I just want a better steel. I've been looking at the dragonfly, but I want some more ideas and opinions.

Thank you,
George

The DF is smaller than the Persistence. Maybe a Sage 1?

I EDC the Dragonfly G-10...love it. Have a Dragonfly Salt as well which is also very nice, the size is perfect for my needs and they both are a joy to handle....never held a Persistance but isn't it a touch larger knife? I also carry a Sage 3 on the weekends and really love that...but that is a little larger than the Persistence.

I always think of: the size, the lock, the color and the usage....mostly have to compromise somewhere....but with Spyderco you really cannot go wrong.

Yeah the sage is a really nice knife. Very similar size too. Thank you for the idea.

I believe the dragonfly is a little more than an inch smaller. I also carry an endura 4 with me though, so it shouldn't be a problem. I just want a new small knife, with a better blade steel. I feel like the dragonfly could accomplish most tasks I need to do.

Dragonfly G10 is a great knife, I carry it and my Delica 4 FRN more than any other knives I have. I have a sage 2 that is very nice but I seem to grab the D'Fly and Delica every day.

Now if I could only find a G10 Delica I'd be set....then a G10 Endura and so on and so forth.
