Wonder "since it's so close to final release" if Sal can shed some light on whether or not the glass breaker is still on the knife, and what else comes with the knife, ie wood box "like LionSteel models" and/or at least tools to make adjustments.... Sal! If you're reading, please RESPOND! Lol... If anyone else has insight, please jump in!

Let me ask you this guys: who is going to EDC this knife with a price of $300 +/-. I just preordered one and don`t know if it will end up in my jeans or my home pants.

I EDC'ed my BG-42 small Sebenza for 4-5 years, and then I EDC'ed this even rarer, Stainless Damascus Large Sebenza:

Another good close up of Thomas' SS Ladder Damascus blade:

However, since I got my Sprint CTS-20CP PM2, I stopped carrying the Custom Large Sebenza - I prefer the lighter weight of the PM2 :D

LOL, good respond. I know the value of your Sebenza, and you answered my question. I have this rule ``you only live once``, I guess I will stick to it. ;)

As a general rule for me, a carry my new knives a minimum of 3 days, all day, to see where they fit in "or not"....
And if you're not gonna use a knife, why buy one?..... This one most likely will NOT be going to work with me often, but I'm assuming I'll be carrying it all VERY often. :D

I really liked this knife upon seeing the first ad for it in Blade--and the thing is obviously very well-built. But the bi-material scales somehow bother me, and that puny clip appears underweight. The substantial shape is attractive, the steel, clearly top-notch; I'm over it, though, happily enough, because one LionSpy represents a whole lot of "lesser" Spyderco purchases.

I agree with you about the clip. A tank of a folder, and a wee little clip?

I don't see anything wrong with the clip.

It would definitely be on a "wish" list! Would love to have one!

I'm sure the clip will work, it just seems small and dainty compared to the overall knife design.

I personally dislike larger clips that get in the way of my grip. The size of the folder alone is enough to keep it in your pants pocket. Plus, it's a low rider...

Darn, I am torn between this Spyderco-Lionsteel or the other DPx HEST 2.0 that came out of Lionsteel for $175????
It has D2 instead of the great Elmax. Blade is black coated and little shorter. Beefy clip. No spydie hole, just studs.
May have to save up and get both and only man handle the HEST and baby the beautiful Spyderco-Lionsteel, camping and such.
