UKPK micarta mod

#1

Post by grace horne »

Hello everyone.
As a long time lurker and Spyderco fan, I have finally decided to join in!

As well as making knives in my own right, I have been messing about with Spyderco's for a few years. Some are stranger than others but this is what I was playing with today.

Beautiful matt burgundy micarta scales.

Beautiful mod, Grace! You've got great taste in scale materials! I'm a huge fan of burgundy Micarta and have put it on a couple of Mules so far.

And welcome to the Forum!

That looks really great!

Micarta is by far my most favorite handle material. Most all of my fixed blades, and custom folders are micarta.

I wish Spyderco used it more.

Shhhh ... I've never seen it before :D

I've thought for a while (since the discontinuing of the S30V UKPKs) that a sprint would be really welcome and that micarta is really inspired.
