You can buy just the scales although they cost 80 bucks a set
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

I seen them at Blade HQ

Currently sold out, I wonder how these compare to the Moonglow Manix in terms of color as well as intensity, and longevity of the glow.

The moonglow does help support their forum... and you get a whole new manix... and I think there lazer etched with their forum "Signature"
Cheers!

The comments about buying the $80 scales; thats really expensive. If you bought a plane jane for $60 and $80 scales; you might as well buy the moonglow and it would be more special as its a forum knife.

@ vinito: if you are asking about the forum knife, yes they still have some. How many I do not know. The site shows 2. I know Jon had some listed on ebay and said he had more. I sent Jon a message to see how many are left. I am guessing around 20ish

Went a head and ordered one(moonglow)

Jon wrote me back today. they are sold out except for returns. You can write him and get better details. I am not sure if there is anything wrong with them or the customers changed their minds.
Mine arrived yesterday. Its awesome, everything is very smooth. Much better quality than my BBS M4. The glow is pretty sweet too!

How long does everyone charge their scales for and what method do you use?

congrats! you will definitely love it. Its a great knife.
Now I can see how bad S30V is compared to M4. Most probably keep this as a safe queen. Mine will be used. A fellow member stated that it makes a great night light as well

I know, but not the same as xhp, M4, etc :p In all honestly I am probably one of those schmucks that will never know the difference. If its not night and day different; I probably will never be able to tell.

Just teasin ya :D

S30v takes a little longer to get a wicked edge, but is darn close to xhp once it's sharp. M4 is easier to sharpen and holds an edge better than both xhp and s30v.

Back on track, let's see some Pics of the moonglows glowing :D . If anyone has an extra one, I can give you my address for shipping :D

Thanks for sharing Oregon. I tried to take some pics last night, but I am not smart enough to get a good pic. Yours turned out phenominal!

The ghosty white irregular line in the first two pics is a barely illuminated handle edge of a white Endura (C10PWH), closed, with its blade next to the closed blade of the M2MG. If you can make it out.

An un-dyed white Endura... Forgot I still had one.

I was wondering what that was. I also could see your hand before you did the lightened version. I would like to see some of your daytime pics; I am impressed.

I also appreciate you sharing. Not a lot of people can probably post pics like this; I know I can't ATM
