The purpose of Brian's review was to see reaction to determine if we're going to make them.

Sal,
Thanks, I like it here very much.
It was intended to be a good natured ribbing because so far I think we are all thinking "WOW!, where can I get those?"
Hopefully the response is sufficient to go forward with it. In my opinion there's a hole in the market for beads etc that aren't skulls, particularly for ones that are of the craftsmanship I see in the pictures.
On another note. I must admit, I'm still pretty amazed that you manage to not only monitor the forums but are even replying to something as trivial as my comment.
I really like them. The price point would be the deciding factor for me. I'd love to have a spydie bead on all my lanyards, but I'm not willing to spend much on beads.
I really like these beads, but with one caveat: I wish the edges and corners were a little more rounded off. Not super round, but just a little bit. And maybe a slight taper to the top and bottom.

I just checked out the website and it looks like these could be very affordable. They have "classic" skull beads with prices ranging from $4.50 for pewter up to $10 for 18K gold plated. Most of their other skull variations are priced about the same, so hopefully Spyderbeads would follow a similar pricing scheme.

If nothing else, with the solid (unplated) pewter/copper/bronze cube beads, the design is centered enough so that you could knock down the corners and edges with a sander/file to shape it to your liking. :)
Saw pictures on the first post, saw a link, and spent a while looking for those beads to purchase. Then I gave up and finally read on and realized they weren't available yet. That's how fast I was ready to buy them. I really hope these will go into production! Simply amazing work!
