I´ll take the Almite Cricket PE and duck-tape.. The cricket´s tip would be great for removing blisters etc. The tape is always great to have..!!

At 48+ years old, if my country feels a need to draft ME, well, we are in worse shape than I thought!

If I HAD to go back in, I'd want to take my SS SE Police, my SS PE Delica, and my Camillus/Becker BK-9.

I served aboard a steam turbine powered destroyer so I have no chance of being drafted. If Spydercos were around when I was in the Navy, I would chose a Military PE. Our knife of choice back then was the Case Folding Hunter at ten bucks a pop.

I'd take the combo-edge Wegner. Great slicer, strong tip, G-10 grip, and excellent ergonomics. In a combat role, however, black coating on the blade and a black clip would give it more stealth. (BC-1 treatment?).

I hope fervently that there won't be a draft, and I doubt there will be. Medical 4F as I am, I wouldn't get picked, but I don't want to see people forced to go to war.

As it is, I believe Saddam will be beaten swiftly, with no need for a draft. However, that remains to be seen.

Never underestimate the impossible.

What would I take if drafted? Well I was once , South east asia war games 30 plus years ago so I won't be going soon I suspect but back then If I could of had a choice like today probably a pe endura, a rescue blk/hdl with the old Randal 14 that I carried for my tour of duty.

Well, I've been there and done that, so I don't suppose it will happen to me again, but if I were, I would carry a Millie, and the 93mm rescue - And when it comes out, the D'Allara rescue.

My daughters will probably be activated in the next few weeks. Army Reserve light construction. One will take a Remote Release and the other a Snap-It and a Calypso Jr in a neck sheath. At least that's what they told me yesterday.

Too old for the draft this time.

However, if they needed me that bad, I'd be taking my Randall 1-6 the knife I took the last time (1966-68) and my G-10 Harpy to open MRE's and packages from home.
