C15 + C19...

Post by sam the man.. »

Dear Spyderpeople... After drooling through the pages of the '97 Spydercatalog, I saw a pair to old Terzuolas in G-10... Man, these knives are AWESME... Any idea if they are still being retailed? Who sells them?

Wow! This is really weird dude, 'cause I just got back from posting a "wanted" ad over at BF for these same models! (Great minds think alike...Oooooo) I once had an opportunity to get a C-15 for $187 bucks used, but I didn't bite. I sometimes kick myself for not getting it when I had the chance...

Maybe we'll get lucky and find a dusty retailer who still stocks 'em.

Take care, man.

These knives have been my favorites for some time now. I have one aluminum handled and one G-10 handled full-size, and a couple of Jr.s in G-10. (Actually my son has them now!)

I got 2 from ebay last year ($66-100) and the rest at gun/knife shows (avg. $90-110).
If you watch, you'll see one a month or so on ebay, but I don't think any stores still sell them.

One of my biggest regrets is, about 6 years ago, the SFO used to have a kind of "parking lot sale". TONS of spydies and people. I saw a big box (file box size) of Bob T's, at $40 each, and another box of seconds (small nick near base of blade) for $15-25!!! If I knew then what we all know now.

Hi all,
Got my C 19 in my pocket right now. I got it from a German dealer who "only" wanted 100 Euro for it. I have an Wanted request for the C15 PE over at BF as well. One guy has answered until now, and he has a C15 CE he will depart with, but I really want PE!!

Last time that I was in San Antonio, Nagels gunshop had one or two of the C15s in their showcase. You might want to give them a call.

Is a C15 + C19 a C34?

San Antonio, Nagels gunshop had one (used not much - trade in). I just bought it for $75. I faxed them a picture, they confirmed the knife but said is is not aluminum sides... curious. I will receive it in a couple of days... thanks for the lead.

The C-15 from Nagel's has G10 sides. I thought they were all Aluminium? Have I missed something?

Howdy Chuck! Welcome to Land!

The C15 did come in either Alum or G-10 variants. If I remember rightly, the G-10 is a little harder to find.

Never underestimate the impossible.

Aluminium came first then a year or so later I believe(don't hold me to it) the G-10 variations came out. I have an Alu PE and a G-10 Jr CE. Both great knives. WOuld love a G-10 PE. It is my last old Spydie I have to find someday.

The C-15 is one of the first s I ever had(still have it). It's like having your first woman. That always has a special place in your heart. I remember my first time!!! I still have the receipt!!!

Cutlers Cove has a C19 on sale this week for $233.95, usually $259.95!! I guess my almost new C19 is worth more than I thought.
