just curious, how do you feel about the grip security on that knife? from looking at it, it seems like it would be relatively easy to slide forward under the blade compared to most other designsdarkstar29 wrote:Get one. Now. You won't be disappointed. I love mine.. ****, it might kick the N5 outta my pocket...and I love my native5.
Just for fun, another silly hypothetical.....
It has a small choil type indention that is smooth. I suppose if your hands were greasy, they might slip. The CF scales are surprisingly grippy though. If I knew how and had the tools I would add jumping to the top and bottom choil type area. That might take away from the smooth fit and finish of the knife though.....mil wrote:just curious, how do you feel about the grip security on that knife? from looking at it, it seems like it would be relatively easy to slide forward under the blade compared to most other designs

Being that I have a decent variety; My last knife would have to be either the Persian or Lum chinese folder. Most likely the Lum since I have an asian background, 50%

If truth be told, I probably don't need anymore knives. I think I can go on with what I have for the rest of my life.

hard to decide. I've been wanting the Gayle Bradley for a while now, so I guess that's my choice.

Wow, lots of interesting and educational responses, which was what I was hoping for
. I'm still not sure what I'd pick myself, especially since my humble harem is still in the developmental stages, I'm still just covering the basics,LOL !! :D

I'm currently treating any new knife purchase with the OP's thought in mind. It's not really a hypothetical to me. My last was a Superleaf and I'm very happy with that. We'll see if another opportunity presents itself in the future. More bills are coming due

I've logged about 5hrs 'hard use' on mine, and haven't had an issue.. Granted, the main cuts were draw and draw/push cuts.. It's a fairly beefy handle..easy to grip.. :)mil wrote:just curious, how do you feel about the grip security on that knife? from looking at it, it seems like it would be relatively easy to slide forward under the blade compared to most other designs
