Ok, it's been a long time since we had a collection of Canuks going. How many of us are there in this forum?

Dialex,

Canuck or sometimes canuk is a noun used to describe a person of the Canadian persuasion - especially a French Canadian.
The Vancouver, BC NHL hockey team is also called the Canucks.

Perhaps one of our Spydie brethren from the Great White North could enlighten us furners aboot the origin of the term, eh? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

It's okay. A bit isolated though as you might imagine.

It's been a good winter. The ice road went in early and opened up the possibilities of shopping in Moosonee.

It's starting to get squishy now and is making travel "interesting". Hopefully it stays for a while longer.

Spring is on its way and the days are getting longer. Mmmmmmmm, sunshine.
