New Year Present to myself arrived!

Just checked the tracking from my Sage 1 CF order off Amazon (88.99 shipped, cant beat that) and it said delivered at front door. I opened the door and there it sat.

What a beautiful knife :spyder:

Initial impressions:
- Great size for my EDC (length and width)
- Awesome weight (CF...duh)
- Perfect texture on the CF (love how its not glossed over)
- Very comfortable in hand, even chocked up in choil
- Great Blade shape/Proportion to handle
- Like the pocket clip, which is partially why i bought it, but don't like the side to side play of it (i understand its a thinner, inconspicuous "paper clip" style pocket clip but just saying)
- Overall an amazing knife, cant wait to carry it around with me

Great knife. If I had to get rid of all my Spydercos but one, the Sage 1 would certainly be a contender for the one I'd keep.

Nice! I ordered one too while the price is low. My expected delivery date is not until Monday or Tuesday though :( . I ordered before New Year's, but I guess they have been overloaded with orders and holding off on shipping due to the holidays.

Great buy at that price. The Sage 1 is my favorite Spyderco. The S30V blade holds an edge really well and the carbon fiber handles look like they would scratch up easily but they are really tuff. Mine has been carried for a year and still looks new.

I couldn't resist that price either, I saw it last week, I ordered it on Friday and received it on Saturday. For some things, Amazon is awesome

They had blue Endura 4's for $49.96 shipped a few weeks ago, I also ended up with one of those. :D

I originally bought a 1, but the seller mistakenly shipped me a 2. We worked it out and I ended up getting a great deal on the 2. So, I had to buy the 1 that I was originally after and the Amazon price was good...so I pulled the trigger.

The sad part is I flipped the sage 2 open a few times and put it back in its box. It is a great knife, but I just don't think I'm going to carry it. I have been carrying my Para2 since the day I got it though :)

I agree, i love the sage but im most likely going to carry it when im dressed in a monkey suit or going to my office job. For everyday (non business related) im carrying the pm2.
