Super Blue Caly got here!!!

#1

Post by chuck_roxas45 »

So my Christmas came on the 26th. As I posted before, the awesome, awesome guys on chat conspired with Jim Howe and gifted me a SUPER BLUE CALY!! The package was shipped last November yet and though I didn't show the guys that anything was wrong, I was getting a bit worried. December is peak season for our PO and well, I was kinda afraid the package had grown legs. Anyway it's here and I'm stoked!!!!

Additionally, I got PolarL's Ti mini prybar that he made for me also mailed last November and boy, is it a sweet gadget.

I love you guys! Thanks Clusterflux, Creepo, Donut, Cosmo,Popsickle(aka JWRickma24), Nightburn, PolarL, Lagrangian, Vampyrewolf, McDutch, Whieee, and of course Razorsharp who was in on it from the beginning.

I'm sure I will enjoy it. It's a great knife, very smooth right OOTB, and fit and finish is just wow!

That's a super knife and what a way to get one. Great friends and good knives this season all around.

Congratulations Chuck. That was a thoughtful thing for those guys to do. Knife wielding knife nuts, giving gifts. What would the rest of the world think.

Whew, now we can stop worrying! Congrats, and I can't wait to see it with a shiny edge and a patina. =)

Thanks heaps guys. It now has a polished bevel but no patina yet. I plan to work on the patina tomorrow when I'll be making my favorite chicken-potato salad. :D

Chuck -

Let's see some pics of that polished edge once you force the patina on that blade -
