Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat. Theodore Roosevelt
I was at the SFO today and handled the XL for the 1st time. Wow, that is one sweet knife! I like it even more than my original C95 Manix. F&F were impeccable, and it doesn't feel quite as heavy as I had anticipated, , ,which is a good thing. The only thing I found I didn't love about it, is I could not close it one-handed as easily as I can a regular Manix2 by putting the end of the handle in my palm and releasing the lock with my thumb and forefinger. Aside from that, it is a real gem. I will no doubt be picking one up soon after the holidays.
