Manix FEVER!!

#1

Post by OverkiLL »

So, this is bad....really bad (depending on how you look at it :D ) Among other spydies bought this year, I just purchased the Tan M4 Manix! Very excited, however, I really want to use this blade for EDC. Which leads me to thinking I need a 2nd one to keep in the drawer in case my first one gets lost/beat-up/etc. But I also ran across the sprint run Manix with CTS-BD30P blade.....

I can't decide! Which should I get? or just enjoy the M4 Manix and leave it alone...

Couldn't have said it better myself.

OverkiLL, I often feel the same way when I get a new knife. I'm immediately compelled to buy a second of that same model to serve as a safe queen while the other is free to be used & tested.

any info on the BD30P steel? Is it worth having? Seems to be a little cheaper to find than the M4 but I've heard such great things about M4. It's gonna come down to either a 2nd M4 or a BD30P i think...

So I received my tan manix2 m4 this weekend......we'll I'm in love! I've always edc'd a delica, then moved to the endura which is great but never tried the manix. This version seems lighter than my saber ground endura! First m4 blade I've ever owned but heard great things about it. As I carry and use it I'll decide whether I need a backup/safe queen and look for a second.

The unfortunate part of this story is that I had to overpay on eBay for the m4 manix due to bento box shop not willing to ship blades to NYS....due to some issue with NYC and knife laws which has no bearing on the rest of the state as we have our own knife laws separate of the 5 Burroughs. Sorry for the rant, but this also means that I have to miss out on the m390 para 2 and over pay again once they appear on eBay.

Doesn't detract from how excited and happy I am with my new manix! Thanks guys!

Have the knife shipped to someone else then they can ship it to you. That way you don't need to pay a higher price or wait for a knife to appear on eBay. I do remember though when the M4 Manix2 came out, lots of us were waiting, chewing our nails and everything else. :D Then they were released and within a week they were showing up on eBay for VERY high prices.

PS: No one should ever need a back up of any knife because things never get lost. :) I doubt if you will need a backup because of using a Manix2 too hard. They will hold up to a lot.
