Ay Nok those look great!....I had some rather large training hawks custom made for a workshop I did about a year ago, but they were awkward and we couldn't smack each other too hard, because it was made of a heavy duty polymer. They held up ok, we just couldn't use them the way I wanted to, in full contact....So I'm gonna keep you in mind when I plan on doing another workshop for the Tomahawk...those look sweet and kinda what we need for proper training...Doc :)
"Always Judge a man by the way he treats someone who could be of no possible use to him"
Those are cool. It's always good to see someone with good/thought-out training devices. IMHO, seeing training devices is a good indication that one is not a 'mall ninja' and actually intends to train in the use of something for SD vs. one who just has an implement because it looks cool. Unfortunately, I suspect many (but not all of course) 'tactical hawk' owners have them for looks alone.
oh don't get me going on that topic SQSAR. It kills me to see guys come to a seminar and they start showing off their 1,000 dollar custom made diamond studded Tactical folder that they have never had to pull out of their pocket in a life or death encounter and most likely never will. Then they dig into their training bag and pull out a flattened out toilet paper tube wrapped in duct tape because they can't see the value of dropping a twenty spot on a decent trainer. I use my trainer a hard everyday and want a tool I can get the most out of my training with.

Well said.
"Having a dull knife is like having a stupid friend."
It has a nice feel to it well balanced. It's not really lite there is quite a bit of wood in it. You asking reminds me of another thing I shake my head at when I hear it. In discussions on forums people will swear to God that in a real fight the adrenaline dump is going to turn you into a tunnel visioned five thumbed gross motor control zombie but then worry that their training knife is a half once lighter then their live blade. I really don't believe in the heat of battle your going to notice the difference between your knife or a ball peen hammer in your hand
Agreed, amok. If you really feel the difference between most light implements when loaded with adrenaline you will likely also have the presence of mine to use mroe advanced bits of training technique with them.
