I'd be down for any CF Dragonfly. The ZDP would just be icing on the cake. That is definitely my favorite "little, big knife".

Sounds like a nice knife, but I don't think it would sell well outside of the AFI's.

I love Carbon Fiber and would buy one in a heartbeat... only if it were in peel ply or twill. Smooth CF is as worthless as male nipples. I never carry my CF Caly or Cricket. :(

rodloos wrote:The G10 dragonfly definitely weighs quite a bit more than the FRN one. Doesn't bother me though, makes it feel solid. Would CF weigh less than G10? I'd guess it might be able to be a bit thinner? I'd definitely buy one in CF!

For a similar size CF in ZDP-189 you might keep an eye out for a Michael Walker CF sprint run, I am growing more fond of that one all the time, a great slicer, and quite thin!
Bento Box has MW listed if you have lots of money. :) Then again, maybe it's not a lot. I don't think I would have paid that much for mine but, I don't think I'd sell mine for that much either. How do you explain that?

Jack
PS
I like the CF D'fly idea. I've been circling a D'fly for a long time and have been wanting a D'fly salt recently. But how would anyone feel about M4 as the steel instead of ZDP-189? ZDP would be really nice but I'd prefer M4. There may be a problem with manufacturing location. My MW was made in Japan and ZDP is a Japanese steel. I don't know if they will use M4 in Japan. All that is something I don't know about.

Im in!! That would be a cool, dressy office friendly EDC for me. Not to mention slide in and out of pocket easier than my G10 version.

if you're gonna do it, you better do it right and use Peel ply ala the Stretch.
