My Paramilitary 2 Black Blade

#1

Post by DedRok »

Just got this.... its a revelation. Never had a PM until now, and I evil laughed when I got it... its awesome. I know some of the camo'd black blades are starting to come with black hardware, but my black Paramilitary didn't.

I actually think I prefer the silver hardware cause it goes with the blade details.

My index finger already hurts. :D

There actually appears to be 2 different model numbers.
The black blade, silver hardware was listed as C81GPBK2, the black blade/ black hardware appears in the catalogue as C81GPBBK.

I'm not sure if they have recently discontinued the silver hardware variant, as I ordered the silver hardware BK2 model and received the BBK black hardware model.
They are a beautiful knife no matter which version you get.

Your black Para Military 2 is quite sinister looking. Right up my alley. It looks as though it was created solely for doing the devious bidding of it's master. You should name it "Satan's Disciple" or "Little Vader". Haha.

Does the black finish on the hardware tend to wear off after a while ? That's the only thing that might prevent me from wanting the black screws.

The screws are a little bit inset into the g10 (same as the silver hardware version) so you will wear the g10 down before removing the black from the screws.

I'll almost guarantee the pocket clip will wear though, as is the nature of pocket clips.

I'm EDCing mine at the moment, I'll post an update the moment I see wear starting. ;)

Great pics bro. Love that knife. I didn't like the Para 2 at first but I love it now. I have just the PE satin blade model and the only thing I have changed is I changed the clip to a black one.

Great, great knife.

Say is that first pic of it in a stainless dryer drum? Awesome pic.

That sure is a beautiful Para2! Almost makes me reconsider my choice of the satin blade model. And I must commend you on your exceptional photographic abilities. You know how to make that sucker look good. :)

But what really struck me is that unique coffee table of yours. I imagine it isn't every day that one comes across the front wheel of a raging bull like a Lamborghini Diablo. Beautiful stuff!
