204cp has less carbon, less than half as much vanadium, but it has .65 (i believe) of tungesten, so it should still hold a good edge, just not quite like 20cp. 204cp should also have a little better corrosion resistance due to more Chromium in the mix.Jet B wrote:How does 204p compare to 20cp? And I wonder what color green it will be? Very interesting.
204cp seems closer to s60v, while 20cp is closer to s90v.

A footnote on that, too - it would have to be G10, not FRN, and the only "toxic green" G10 I know of on the market now is really not toxic green at all - it's more of a pea soup green. I would hope for either the light foliage green or the forest green used on the Stag Manix 2.JNewell wrote:Won't happen. Spyderco and knife dealers respect the USN use of toxic green...
I have a hunch the green will be similar to that on the Lil Temp, maybe a little darker.

I'm an admirer of Spyderco's designs. Using them is like immersing yourself in music or studying a painting in a museum. I buy some "fine" art but my preference is for usable art.
I'll have to buy it then.catamount wrote:I have a hunch the green will be similar to that on the Lil Temp, maybe a little darker.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.
