My wife carries a MOP Kiwi and a black pearl Micro-Dyad.
Our reason is quite satisfied, in 999 cases out of every 1000 of us, if we can find a few arguments that will do to recite in case our credulity is criticized by someone else. Our faith is faith in someone else's faith, and in the greatest matters this is most the case.

true. She can be in trouble even for knife, half-size of lady bug at school. Sorry.tonydahose wrote:she just won't carry any knives. i almost had her starting to carry a bug or grasshopper but then she thought it would be considered a weapon at her school (she's a teacher) so she declined.

Outside of the house she doesn't carry a knife
Part of the reason is that she works in the schools. They need even hide the kitchen knives.
Around the home, there are several:
Nightstand: Mora Clipper and a little SE knife
Sewing room: Urban Wharrie (I keep it razor sharp)
Garden: Salt 1 SE

Just picked up a Byrd Crow today... ordered some neon pink G10 scales and a titanium deep carry pocket clip... gonna do some cool stuff for the lady (hopefully)! I'll post it up when I am done!

She does know how to pick them. Good taste :DZatx wrote:[...] start going over all the options she has available to her when she reaches into my knife cubby on the desk and pulls out my FRN Dragonfly and exclaims, "meh.. I'll just take this one".
I almost cried.
My husband doesn't go for Spyderco knives. Not his style, he says  Besides, most of them, or at least the really cools ones, aren't legal to carry in Germany because of the lock+one-hand opening. But I got him a Grasshopper a couple of weeks ago and he actually likes it. So there's still hope :)
Me, I've got a small collection of girly colored knives that are somewhat on rotation by now. There's a pink Vic Classic Alox that's always on my keys and red Leatherman Squirt in my purse/bag. I would love to have my Dragonfly Salt in my pocket but that's not exactly legal. I usually try to have a locking blade in my purse and something non-locking or two-hand opening in my pocket. So most of the time the purple Delica 4 is clipped inside my bag and something else is in my pocket. Today there's a Ka-Bar Mini Dozier for example that I took the thumb-stud off. Other days I have the UKPK in my pocket and the Dragonfly in my bag. Depends on my mood and where I plan to go.
I'm actually still shocked how often a blade comes in handy even on an ordinary day and I wonder how I could have gone without one for so long :o
She: Did you say pink :spyder: sprint run?! - He: Yeah. - She: Wow, wouldn't this go great with my purple Delica?! - He: ? - :D

PE stainless Navigator 2, with lanyard. She keeps it in her purse. I recently got her a Leatherman Juice, and she loves that too.
