Perhaps a good single malt as well.
Spydies are a real treat on Cygnus - their 'home grown' stuff has triangular holes in the blades ... and those corners are murder on their tentacles ....

There was a time when some of the smartest minds on the planet thought it was a waste of time and effort to include the additionally key strokes to designate the century (i.e. "1999", instead of "99"). Perhaps some of you recall the poo-storm that omission created.

Sometimes stating a little "extra" info that seems obvious at the time, proves to be a very wise move later :D

I was thinking about buying some of Sal's Moonmade blades, but I don't think green cheese is an appropriate material for a working folder...

I enjoy the lightheartedness of the "Country, Planet" origin stamp. Fun to see it reflected in the replies to this thread :)

However, if humankind ever figures out how to effectively traverse vast distances in space this USA Earth stamp might become quite valuable ;)

All I know is the first time I ever saw it (on the first Spyderco I ever saw... my friends military...) I thought it was awesome. That knife and stamp have had quite an impression... It's definitely a cool feeling having a Golden knife with that stamp. Love it. Can't wait to buy more haha

Customs here on Cygnus confiscated my PPT... would one of you Earthlings mind tightening the pivot and forwarding one to me? I would gladly reimburse you for the inconvenience...

So I take it the Grand Council did finally pass the Cygnus anti-gravity legislation? ... After finally overcoming all their other gravity problems?

... typical.

Here's a thought - how about putting the Longitude and Latitude of the SFO on a knife?

Leave it up to Sal and company to figure out which knife it should be, but I think that would be pretty cool ...

Actually there is a Golden Colorado, Middle Earth, just outside of Helm's Deep. You pass it on the way to Mordor.

I always saw that as a way of making it very clear that they are the only one of their kind...it says something about their name, their quality etc. We're not just Spyderco here in Golden, not just the USA, but of the whole **** Earth. None are equal.

When you make the best knives in the galaxy, I guess you need to make it known where they came from.

Cuts like a light saber.
