A nice lanyard? I went with the G10 version, which, in my eyes, is fancier than FRN.

It was discontinued, but finding one shouldn't be hard. Mine is "foliage green". I don't know if they made any other colors.

if you can take it apart and put it back together properly you can add some file work.

In order of difficulty:

Polishing clips:

Rounding the blade spine:

Polishing the rounded spine (and lock bar)
Image

Lock bar file work:
Image

Polishing blades:

Or put a truly silly amount of time into a 50 dollar knife and grind the entire blade down to the thickness of the Delica, polish the blade faces, enhance the edge geometry (20 inclusive, with high polish), polish the clip, file work on the lockbar (then polished), and polish all internal moving parts.

You can do the same thing except that you can make a sanding or stonewashing instead of polishing. Can be very nice!

Thanks guys. I hear word from time to time from the new owners of these. The Endura IV really is a pimp-worthy piece ;)

mirror polish blade and clip, add a fancy fob, file the lock bar, mix some glow powder and epoxy and put it on the :spyder: logo and 'Spyderco Endura 4" on the handle, where the clip rests. oh and put some on the dented spyder on the clip and on the "spyderco VG-10 Seki city" , and on the unused clip holes. maybe fill the liners so it glows on the inside :D - Then post pics. Another cool thing would be stone wash stripes or something into the blade and clip my masking what you want to keep polished.

Someone on bladeforums pointed Winy Ridge Designs out to me a while back. Some of the most awesome looking work I have seen.
