I signed up for an account yesterday there and it still hasn't been activated. :(

I would also really appreciate it if someone could pm me the code as I can't afford it if its 100+ without the code.

The code wont be known until monday morning.
We would rather be the knife in your pocket, because is "works" better, than the knife in your showcase, because it "looks" better.

If I am there at the SFO bright and early - Cash in hand. Can I get one. Or can you only get them online?

While this would be a kool knife to collect with the toxic green and h1. I'm trying to hold back due to all the custom blades I'll be droolng over for G3. Need to save every penny I can.

I wonder if the H1 steel will have the same flex in it like a good filet knife does. If so I may jump on one...or two.

The Deacon wrote:As I understand it, anyone can purchase one, you do not need the code. The code is only meant to give USN members a discount so, IMHO, it would be wrong for anyone to give it out and dishonest for someone to use it if they don't belong to that forum.

Yes. Someone posted on another forum that circulating/using the discount code to/by non-USN members is worse than reselling sprints at a mark-up because while there's no rule or understanding about reselling sprints, the discount code was explicitly for USN members, so abusing the code is just plain dishonest. It's hard not to agree with that. :spyder:

Hey broc, if I didn't know better, I'd say you sorta like the sage's and the Delica's. :) They are also both favorites of mine. How can you not like a knife that has caused stitches? Hoping I can latch on to at least one of these. Would love to give my son one for a gift. Time will tell.....and I will be at work. NG Hey, if it doesn't work out..............so beeee it :)

Welcome to the USN

This is a swell knife and some of you may be joining USN right now for the code. But please do yourself right and stick around, read the forums and interact with the community. You'll realize there's much more to the knife than you originally imagined. It's not about the discount. I hope you'll join in and keep the knife with pride.

Hope to see you there! :D

Second that. One good example: Halpern Titanium, the folks who make Mule scales, have a forum at USN, the only place you can reach them other than by phone AFAIK. Lots of other good discussion that is different than you find here or the other "usual" fora.

Ok! I know it's a little late, but better late than never! I'm going to try to answer some of your questions.

If you live in Denver, you can pick one up at SFO today just like you can any other knife.

Our website does allow a different shipping address than the billing address, so that should not be a problem.

There is no special code required for purchasing the Catcherman. You can buy it just the same as you can any other knife on spyderco.com, just with a restriction of 2 per person. We might lift that ban depending on how quickly they sell.

We have a mobile website that has been tested with the latest iOS and Android operating systems and appears to be rendering as of this morning just fine, although you are redirected to the main site if you wish to purchase.

As far as other products, specifically the Native5 and Junior, I would pay very close attention to the "New Products" section for the rest of the week. But no promises :)
