Just to clarify my previous comment: I shop wherever I can get the best price and service. For regular production models that is CS, sometimes (as in new Sprints) that is some other place.

Honestly he could raise his prices by a few percent on all his spydies and still beat out all the other spydie dealers. I'm happy to get a great price, but if he asked for a few extra dollars per purchase I would happily pay it. He eats shipping with the nutnfancy coupon code too.

I agree with you but let's not give him any bright ideas. :D Actually I'm sure he's more than aware of the fact that he and his site are very appreciated. I placed an order with him about 3 weeks ago and about 2 days later found out about the nutnfancy code. Oh well. I'll use it next time. There have been many times I've postponed a purchase because the shipping was more than what I wanted. My last purchase for example, I included a bottle of Tuf-Glide which I had waited for because price + shipping was too much for just the oil. Oh well, live and learn.

If you use that word as a code you get free shipping at CS.

the code is only for people who live in america, we can't use it since oversea shipping is more expensive and his prices are already really low. free oversea shipping would reduce his income even more since he's giving such good prices on the knives

The Caly Super Blue thread is slipping away so I'll reiterate in here that Jeff received a shipment of Caly 3.5 SB yesterday which can be accessed by clicking on "Spyderco Sprint Run".

This wasn't necessarily a bad experience but I placed an order for a Para 2 seeing that the website said "we expect more soon". I ended up waiting a month and a half with nothing so i canceled my order and found one elsewhere. I checked back semi-regularly and even after 4 months they were still on back order. Never the less I'll still check them out next time I'm looking for a new knife.

Funny thing is that they have a few different Para 2 versions in stock right now. Probably will be gone within a day or two though.

They frequently stay out of stock, but that is because they are backordered and he keeps people in line so he can fill them as they arrive. I would never cancel my order with Jeff at CS because he has the best prices and won't forget about your knife.

The para and Manix are popular models. If you want a good price you have to be willing to wait.

I found a coupon code for 10% off the Para2 at TacticalDefender.com and only ended up paying an extra $10, but had I been willing to wait a few weeks I could have gotten he same knife for $95

Patience is a good quality for a knife addict. I just got a NIB Sage1 for $85 shipped on the forums. I also got a FG G10 Delica for $90 after bidding on 6 of them on eBay.

You really can't be CS for Spyderco products. Jeff is always very helpful. I just got a Chaparral from them. I'll be back for more, I'm sure.

Thanks for the update. Just ordered mine and used the coupon code found elsewhere in this thread. I buy from Jeff almost exclusively as I do not purchase very many per year. Only 12 since I started last October.... :o

As a new collector I tried a few different vendors at first, mainly using price points as a gauge. I didn't have any poor experiences, but a couple were rather tedious. Out of the few that I've dealt with, Cutlery Shoppe is my favorite go to Spyderco vendor.

I've purchased five Spydies from Jeff and I will add to the praise of his service; outstanding and very accommodating to say the least.

Email is replied to promptly, shipping is always quick and his pricing is very competitive. I don't hesitate to order from him and I will continue to send my business his way whenever possible.

I placed an order yesterday after 2:30 central time. According to USPS tracking the package should be here tomorrow. That's getting order and the package out the door very fast. Thanks Jeff.
