Post by ATV1116 »

:spyder: Just got this beauty 2 days ago for my wife. I paid $52.00 on ebay. It arrived flawless and the Spydie box was in perfect condition! My wife loves this knife. I just knotted a lanyard on it lastnight and I will post a pic ASAP! Thanks for reading... :spyder:

Very nice. I almost bought one of those a while back for me to carry. Hard to imagine anyone fearing a pink knife ;)
Thanks,

Like this one or the new model?

Because I never see the new model in full flat in color pink. Only in purple.

:spyder: I guess I was a little stand-offish about the pink. I would definitley carry it. I don't think my wife will let me steal it from her.. LOL :spyder:

A couple weeks back I bought a pink flat ground Delica for my daughter from KC. She is totally excited about it and kind of bummed at the same since she will have to wait a few years before she's old enough to carry and use it. You should have seen her eyes when I took it out of the packaging, her eyes were as big as saucers.

The ffg pink delica from what I have heard is a dealer exclusive for Midwest Gun Exchange. They don't have an online store and have been selling some stock to Knife Center. Imo, they seem a little too expensive at Knife Center.

You are 100% correct. It actually states that on the Edge-U-cation letter. Although I think I got this at a steal. Flawless knife and box as well. 52 or 53 bucks (ebay)

Honestly I can't remember what I paid, but I do know I didn't even blink an eye at the price and want to say it was the standard $57 or so that KC charges for a typical Delica. Anyone remember the exact price?

Edit: I double checked my invoice and I paid $57.95. I wouldn't consider that price all that bad considering I also bought a few stones and Misc items.

You can't go wrong with a Delica in any color IMHO.

I think their standard shipping price put it closer to $70, grouped with another order, it IS a good deal.

I have a couple of the old saber ground and a couple of the newer flat ground. I've done a bit of work with a local breast cancer charity where everyone wear's some kind of pink during the events. I always carry a pink Delica when I'm at the walks or auctions. People seem to think it's cute. ;)
