Speaking for the text I wrote and your comment regarding MY text; How is stating a fact *** kissing?

If your choice is to go to another forum after reading what I wrote, I will not attempt to stop you. Have a nice day.

This forum is not a fit for everyone.

Certainly you will find a heavy polarity of some members on some subjects, we have been here a while and tend to agree on some things (but not all). There is plenty of room for those who disagree with me (and others), but I do not think they will make space for those that break rules.
Thanks,

If we can't buy here what does our opinion count for?

Obviously a forum that is dedicated to a brand is more picky on particulars or loyal to others. I would pay more for a specific run that the average person on CPF wouldn't care for. Others on eBay will bid something up to the heavens (like collector numbered knives, lol) or let it drop on it's face sometimes.

Put it up on eBay after doing some internet research. Put a reserve for what you can't see selling it for and wait. Try googling, "value of ___" and you will prob get something of a rough idea. If it doesn't sell, drop the price and see if that works.

If cars sell on eBay for far less/more than KBB (which is a valid appraising organization), the chance of properly appraising a pocket knife for the same sale method is more difficult than predicting a tornado.

Occasionally we try to support a common precedent/logic as it contributes to a community.

Congrats on the time spent putting all of those quotes together and calling those folks out. We really should just sit around helping people appraise knives. Maybe you should take your own advice if it's so nonsensical.

Sorry if that sounded like praise for your quote structuring. I would hate to be an ***-kiss. :(

and I would consider those posts trolling and belittling

just pointing out some obvious stuff here

I am by far an *** kisser. But if you think you can come in here and break the rules and not get called on it your wrong. And if you don't like not being able to do whatever you want, and feel the need to go to another forum, then don't let the door hit you....how does that go?

You don't happen to be the same person as the OP do you?

Wait I'm confused.... I don't know whose a$$ to kick or kiss....whose being belittled and whose trolling......Help me out here....everyone calm on down.....so I can get back to selling some knives (LOL)......Welcome to forum..Enjoy your stay...None of the members here deleted your post....if you disagree with the decision the administration made, you have the right as a forum member to ask them why, how and what-for.....I bet you'll get a very civil answer that makes sense, not only are the members here terrific people but the Administrative Officers of this forum are well respected and liked as well...They put lots of energy into making their forum, as good as their company and knives...So give them a break, and understand they have a lot on their plates....ask why it happened, understand why it happened and move on, no need for name calling, being insulted, and rocking the boat....The waters here are calm...jump on in!
FWIW: I think it's time to close this thread...but that's not my decision either....Doc :D

Its really hard to read into someone's intentions on the interweb. The OP's first post described a very specific knife that he was trying to sell. It was his first post. Most of us that have been here more than a few months have seen very obvious attempts to sell knives by first time posters. It was apparently not the intention in this case, but was close enough to raise suspicion.

Misunderstandings happen. We move on. Welcome aboard Coonan. Hope you stick around and enjoy the community.
So many knives, so few pockets... :)

I second the motion. The motion is carried. Thread closed! :D :D

Now before that gets interpreted incorrectly, I am not an administrator and have no authority to close the thread. It was a lighthearted attempt to say enough is enough. All points and counterpoints have been made. Nothing to see here folks, lets keep moving along...
